Perelandra
I have always been impressed with Lewis’ ability to transform words into worlds. In Perelandra, the second book in his space trilogy, I enjoyed the depictions of the dragons on the planet and desired eagerly to draw one—a noble, good, untainted beast as in the story. The dragon came first, and the idea to make a book cover, second. Therefore, this piece is not so much meant to portray the depth or true nature of the book, as a cover should, but is a simple snapshot of my personal pursuits.
